The Challenge

We were expanding rapidly, outgrowing our fully managed office solution. As is the case with most serviced offices, when we moved out we were prevented from taking any telecoms hardware with us, including our telephone numbers.

It transpired, however, that this became a benefit as it allowed us to engage Structured Communications in order to bespoke a new system to incorporate all our current and future requirements without the limitation of an old phone system, which would have been expensive to move.

The main challenges were focused around call recording, future scalability, uptime, control and ensuring a seamless move between offices.

The Solution

We wanted to use hosted IP for future proofing as it allowed us to integrate the network infrastructure alongside our existing IT infrastructure planned for the new office. Staff would have the ability to move desk without the complex reconfiguration that comes with a traditional PBX while having a central point of control for the system and increasing uptime by having it hosted off site.

Structured Communications offered a hosted VoIP solution that they tailor-made to meet our needs, including an SLA for both voice and data solutions they offer. This allowed us to take advantage of their redundant network and site monitoring, enabling us to focus on our business and the office move.

The Result

Structured Communications now manage all our communication needs, having delivered the solution ahead of time, ready for when we moved in. We have a dedicated support team available to us with Structured who know our account in detail and whom we are on first name terms with. Since the solution has been installed we have seamlessly added additional floors to the system including staff with ease. The portal they offer gives us direct access to all our system features including system reports that allows us to track and report on calls.
